Abstract Heads

Abstract Heads is a structured series of works based on three founding principles

• The drawing of the head must be from life
• The work must be in a format of 40x40cm
• The work must be repeated in a triptych

Over time these principles have been bent, pushed and squeezed to allow new forms to appear.

The interplay between painting and sculpture is also called to mind.
